ARCiii presents Building Your Leadership Platform, a series of leadership development conferences that are focused on developing the "personal" aspect of emerging leaders. We are looking to impact the mentality and thought process of leaders in a variety of diverse areas we call leadership "planks". Each of these planks is a building block that will help to build the platform for a well-rounded, informed, and compassionate leader. In this seminar we touch 3 of these planks, Leadership Influence, Technology Trends, and Social Dynamics.

The seminar will consist of a Leadership Primer on: Leadership and Influence vs. Authority and Power by Nicole Roberts, a trainer and facilitator specializing in professional development; 

A Technology Primer on: A Leader's Overview of Technology by Domecia Manuel a Senior Pastor and owner of eManuel Business Solutions, a web development company;

And an interactive panel session on the Generational Leadership Challenge featuring panelists Maria Dickens, Executive Director of Pathways; Chanel Fort, Pharmacy Technician Program Director at Virginia College; DJ Strick, Disc Jockey for 95.7 Jamz and founder of Strick City; and Deon Gordon, Partner and Managing Director of Corvus.

Parking: While there may be some parking on the street, it would be best to park in the 9th Avenue deck, which is adjacent to the School of Public Health. The parking fee is $2.00.

To Get To The Venue: Individuals parking in this lot will need to exit the garage on the 1st floor from the opposite side which they entered. They will need to go up the steps to the plaza and take the pedestrian bridge that crosses over University Boulevard to Lister Hill Library.
